Assistant Golf Professional
Edgar Leano was born in Colombia, South America and moved to the United States when his father was recruited to run track for the University of Nevada, Reno. Edgar is a graduate from the University of Idaho where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing as well as completed the PGA Professional Golf Management Program and earned his PGA Class A status. While at the University of Idaho, Edgar was part of University of Idaho's PGM Jones Cup National Championship Team. The Jones Cup is the National Championship where all 19 PGA Professional Golf Management Universities from across the country compete in a 36- hole team competition.
Prior to Victoria National, Edgar worked at many distinguished clubs around the country which included: Point O' Woods Golf & Country Club, Champion Hills Club, Ventana Canyon Golf & Racquet Club, Sahalee Country Club, Snake River Sporting Club and Forest Highlands Golf Club.
Edgar is a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Level One Instructor and a U.S. Kids Golf Certified Instructor. Edgar has a passion for improving his student's game and greatly enjoys working with junior golfers. He is dedicated in providing the highest level of service to the membership and guests of the club. Edgar is very excited to join the Victoria National Team and is looking forward to creating lasting relationships with the members and guests of the club.
